"We absolutely loved our stay at the Hearthside B&B. Susan and Barry are the greatest -- very fun and down to earth. We took their recommendations on some really fun activities like kayaking and walking across the sand bar to Bar Island, as well as their recommendations on restaurants, and we were always pleased! We stayed for a long time and Susan and Barry prepared a different breakfast every day -- and every one of them was delicious! Afternoon tea was lovely, too, and there were yummy cookies and hot chocolate as well. Our room was beautiful and cozy (we snuck peeks at the other rooms and they were beautiful, too). The location is fantastic -- right in the middle of town but on a small, quiet street. We highly recommend this B&B and we will certainly return there for our future visits to Bar Harbor."
